Mosque Tower art print

This is the fourth piece of the Sketching in Morocco collection. 

This piece was inspired by the Badr Mosque in Casablanca. After 2 days in Rabat, we traveled to this beautiful city to visit a good friend of mine. We had a day full of fun and had just walked her back to her apartment. When me and my boyfriend were headed back to our apartment, I was still looking for something to draw for this day of the series. Without any expectation, I turned my head to my right to check for oncoming traffic. 

There it was, peaking out over the buildings on the street, in between two apartment buildings. The tower of a gorgeous mosque. I knew immediately that this was exactly what I wanted to use for inspiration!
